Procurement Operations Associate

  • Reviewed, processed, and closed over 2,500 contracts in the government’s administrative CMS system, ensuring financial and legal compliance and timely close out

  • Reviewed, processed, and closed over 1,000 contracts in the government’s administrative CMS system, ensuring financial and legal compliance and timely close out

  • Competitively procured over $40,000 in supplies for the procurement department, ensuring timely arrival of quality products and services within budgetary constraints

  • Reconciled over $725,000 worth of purchasing card receipts, enabling financial accountability and supervised a group of 45 cardholders with an average of $30,000 in monthly purchases

  • Developed and successfully executed a solicitation records retention and disposal project, categorizing and archiving over 1,000 files and coordinating their disposition in accordance with state guidelines and regulations

  • Handled the archival retrieval and timely disclosure of over 250 public records requests and steered the interdepartmental coordination of large-scale document transfers

  • Directed a team of analysts in the collection of quantitative datasets to create an external presentation of the department’s accomplishments, resulting in successfully acquiring a national award for procurement excellence

MTU Compliance Intern

  • Managed a monthly accounting assessment partner bank financial budgets and updated a tracking database with the operational and monetary status of active projects

  • Reviewed and prepared financial claims on development loans and archived bank claims in a database to ensure compliance with U.S. federal laws and regulations

  • Processed over 740 financial recovery requests with USAID partner banks and financial institutions in English and Spanish using Microsoft Excel and an administrative CMS system

  • Conducted an investigative research and analysis project into fraud and money laundering across multiple banks, reviewing over 400 documents and creating a detailed findings report

  • Created an interactive publicly accessible Tableau data visualization presentation of organizational goals and project accomplishments since the agency’s founding

  • Managed special projects for the vice president, including creating the redevelopment plan for the charitable foundation’s website
