The Sagrada Familia

The Sagrada Familia, remains the most extraordinary example of Art Nouveau architecture, exemplified through its angled, tree-like columns, ornate flower and plant-like decorations, modernist stained-glass windows and extreme inner and outer ornamentation of carvings and statues.

Within the style of art nouveau, no architect could rival the work of Antoni Gaudi. Gaudi’s work is most clearly exemplified by his architectural masterpiece of the Sagrada Familia cathedral in Barcelona, Spain.
The Alhambra Palace

The Alhambra in Granada Spain is arguably one of the most incredible complexes of great architecture that remain to this day. It exists in a state that one can be enveloped by the merging of cultures, designs, styles and so much more.

The Alhambra, through its trials and tribulations, emerges as a greatly significant piece of architecture due to the blend of Islamic and renaissance architectural design through its fortifications, religious buildings, gardens and especially its palaces.
